Sawmill Area Vacation Packages

My wife and I stayed at the Vanessie four nights. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The cleaning staff very friendly and did a wonderful job. The breakfast area was great. The gentlemen who ran the breakfast area is a sweetheart of a man. As for the restaurant, total crap. The two of us had been out all day enjoying Santa Fe. We decided to give the restaurant a try. There were two young men working the lounge. One of them , tall, lean and hair to the shoulders. The other dressed, in all black western wear and had a beard. We sat at a table and menus were dropped on the table. I asked if we were a little early and his response was a sharp yes. Our order came to the table. No utensils or napkins. We also asked if we could have two small plates. They were given. All of this was apparently too much to ask. The bartender/waiter went back to the bar with cheese sauce on his beard. This was my boiling point. I told him to stop feeding his face. I barked out for the check and the tall guy asked us if we were walk-ins. I take it this meant someone off the street who is not staying there. I told them both it was much more then that, we were there for four days. The "bearded wonder" made change with part of his own money. A dollar to be exact. I gave it back. No other tip was given. Our stay was from the 9th to the morning of the 13th. This took place on the 10th around 4.45 pm. We did not return to the lounge at my wifes request. Clean this part of Vanessie up.

The inn meets and at times exceeds expectations in cleanliness, the helpfulness of its staff snd the convenience of its food service.

The lounge was absolutely beautiful, the breakfast was fast, affordable and tasty! The entire staff were professional and genuine. They also had a free shuttle which was incredible. And the drivers were outstanding!

The staff was a mixed bag. Tony, the Butler, Dianne at the spa, the breakfast staff at the Hacienda bldg, bartenders all great. Others meh. The hottub was broken, pool covered. Rooms are a bit tired. I’d stay again if the price was right and we wanted to bring our dog. It’s super dog friendly. The location is very good.

Wonderful staff beautiful art great location good food I’ll keep coming back to stay it’s wonderful.
